The “HOUSTON” walnut dining table is handmade from a wide slab of walnut with a modern steel base.  Handcrafted by our talented team at Deer Valley Woodworks, this exquisite dining table brings a touch of elegance and natural beauty to your home.  The combination of expert craftsmanship and premium materials ensures a piece that is not only visually stunning but built to last a lifetime.

Our walnut dining table was made from a massive walnut tree that was removed from a clients’ property during the construction of their new home.  This tree was harvested by our local sawmill yielded beautiful straight grain.  After the logs were sawn, the slabs were dried by mother nature for about 18 months and then it was kiln-dried for another couple months before we began our fabricating.  The finished tabletop is just over 2” thick and has several coats of a protective commercial coating to help preserve its beauty for many, many years.

Size of the table is 44” W x 108″ L, comfortably sitting 8-10 people. We have other natural wood slabs in walnut, white oak, and other species available for your next table.  Our slab tables can be made with a natural live edge or cut square like this Houston table.  We will work closely with you on these tables to ensure we choose a slab that has all of the characteristics you want in your new table.  After the purchase is made, we will provide photos of available slabs and together we’ll help you find the perfect slab for your project.
