The "Silver" Farmhouse Dining Table

The “Silver” farmhouse dining table is our version of the classic farmhouse table all made meticulously by hand with a 3″ ultra-thick tabletop. Fabricated with traditional joinery methods like the pinned mortise and tenon breadboard ends or the pinned 5″ thick legs with through tenons. Each detail has been carefully planned out and perfectly executed to make a stunningly beautiful table ready for your family to begin a lifetime of memories. Also available for additional purchase is a matching bench or two if desired.

The wood was salvaged from a barn in northern Illinois. We took 6″ and 8″ Douglas Fir beams and cautiously milled them into flat, square, and workable material. Much care was taken to preserve the aged characteristic of the material; it’s filled with many saw marks from the early American sawmills, and also loaded with nail holes, splits, and other unique beauty marks. The most severe holes or indentations were filled to preserve the wood’s history. The desktop then received five coats of a heavy industrial finish. The final product turned out amazing, built to last for generations.

Size of the table is 42″ x 72″, easily sitting 6-8 people. Other sizes are available, please inquire with your size needs and you’ll receive an immediate response. It is milled entirely from 6×6 and 8×8 thick authentic reclaimed heart pine beams, not construction lumber from big box stores.
